My current bag duo for notes.

What's with writing notes? Don't you use a synced notebook on your mobilek spyware slave-tablet?
The fountain pen is some manner of Moonman knockoff from Ebay. It's a medium nib, similar to Lamy's medium. $12!

Well yes, I do, but my idea of note-taking on a phone is using encrypted chats to myself. My shorthand notes are usually reminders and stuff for work.

You also can't hack a notepad.

Overall, Field Notes notepads don't jive with my Noodler's black as well as Moleskine notepads do... the paper bleeds a little, so I might go back to them. I needed to try the brand out tho after seeing them in Wes Anderson movies. The ink looks good and glides well, and the paper is thick, it just spreads a bit more than Moleskine and the fibers grab a little.
