                                    Aegidienkirche, #Hannover: A #Memorial in Stone.

                                    Originally a 14th-century Gothic #church, it was destroyed during WWII in 1943. Today, the #ruins stand as a powerful reminder of the horrors of war. Its tower houses the Peace Bell, donated in 1985 by Hanover’s partner city, Hiroshima.

                                    Today's #PhotoSuggestion is all about Pflasterkunst, which translates in "pavement art" or "street painting" I think. In German, 'Pflaster' means cobblestones as well. So I dug out this old picture once again, but in another edit. To me, it just fits perfectly today.

The background features a textured concrete wall stretching horizontally behind the cat. You may not understand why I'm questioning my life choices, but it's the will of global warming.
