                    I stopped by the Northern Nevada Railway in Ely on my way back to Reno the other day. For a long time the machine shop had a cat mascot named "Dirt." I saw Dirt once & failed to photograph him thinking he was just a dirty old alley cat. I didn't know he was famous. (Insert dope slap.) Dirt died in 2023 but Dirt Jr. "DJ" carried on. Sadly, I learned that DJ disappeared a year ago but I got to meet R2D2 "Arty" & Cinder.

                                  This little dude laying on the top of the cat tree, listening to me making a bunch of coughing and blowing of the nose noises, with his music at a typical human volume, and he was just eyeing me like... Are you going to stop with all the racket and let me sleep human? So, I slow down on the racket and turn the volume down. We are only 6 months into this relationship and it already feels one sided. :welp:

                                                Poupou is going to have a little brother!

                                                I'm adopting a kitty soon, it's going to be the brown one from this picture. It's been caught with its mother, but the mother is very wild, broke the window screen and ran away. They already eat solid food so it's fine, but might not be very good to separate them from their mother yet.

                                                Regardless, I'll adopt him in the coming weeks and plan a visit to the vet for regular wild kitty stuff.
