                                      Found an old postcard from ~1880 near the #village hall and decided to recreate the exact shot yesterday. Merging the 19th century with the present - it’s like the past is still glowing in the streets of Héricy, #France.

                                          Mere days after the monster blizzard that hit us last February, much of the city was clear of snow. These snowplows were probably just returning to their station, but in my eyes it could have been a hero’s parade.😊

                                          Two snowplows, one yellow and the other orange, chug along Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. There’s no trace of snow, even though a blizzard had hit the city a few days earlier. On the far side of the avenue are soaring skyscrapers. A bit of blue sky with white clouds can be seen at upper left.
