If I can't buy it as a physical media for a one-time - price, then said corporations certainly don't want to make money off it and won't mind people sharing, as they refused to cash in on the demand.

  • If it was my decision, Copyright would cease the moment one cannot legally obtain a physical one-time purchase copy under fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory terms, because the whole idea of Copyright was to grant 25 years of exclusive commercialization, not to commit creative and sociocultural "asset denial"!

In fact, "Sharing is Caring" as Netflix used Sharing Statistics to find out which Content to License for their platform!

I cannot imagine something I rather see less than an old, decrepit Austin Powers being horny in 2027+

Nonetheless, Mike Myers promises he still wants to make a 4th Austin Powers movie in future years.

Jacob Elordi is too tall for Bond, spies aren't supposed to stand out in a crowd, the very opposite.

The Godfather Novel vs Movie -- Spoilers [SENSITIVE CONTENT]

The novel and the movie are really quite different. I found the novel much more enjoyable (although the film is very well made) because the book explains the nuances and explains what certain things mean.

For example, Sonny showing interest in Sollozzo's offer shows a weakness in the Corleone armour that helps to push for the assassination attempt on the Don. With the Don out of the way, the answer stops being a blanket no and becomes a maybe.

I got more of a sense of the puppeteer motif from the book than the film. In the novel all the characters are connected to the Don in some ways and the novel is really about the Don being brilliant in a way no one else is or has been.

The movie kind of makes it more of a rise of Michael story. Michael comes across more psychopathic in the film while in the book there is more of a stress of 'it's business'. The killing of Tessio is just that. It's a necessity whether enjoyable or not and his betrayal is also in a way a necessity. It's all a bit like game theory.

The ending of the film I have always found a bit flat. It just shows a load of people being killed who vaguely appear in the story. It is the same in the book but the book creates more drama and explains more.

I just posted my review of Justified

I've also wrote my thoughts up on my current list of movies, starting with Byzantium and then 30 Days of Night.

Director Jamie Babbit had to make severe cuts to the film to get it rated under NC-17, criticizing the MPAA for its unfair treatment of films with queer content. Despite these struggles, the film has become a cult classic, criticizing conversion therapy and showing the story of a girl who embraces that she's a lesbian.
