If I can't buy it as a physical media for a one-time - price, then said corporations certainly don't want to make money off it and won't mind people sharing, as they refused to cash in on the demand.
In fact, "Sharing is Caring" as Netflix used Sharing Statistics to find out which Content to License for their platform!

Jacob Elordi is too tall for Bond, spies aren't supposed to stand out in a crowd, the very opposite.
But then James Bond isn't really spy...
@tinker I propose Juno (Jason Reitman, 2007), Skate Kitchen (Crystal Moselle, 2018) and (maybe not so lofi, but very atmospheric
) The Lighthouse (Robert Eggers, 2019).
Jimmy Buffet is in Repo Man too TIL
Additional Blond Agents
Didn't even remember this gag where they're progressively more blonde and then some guy has on a full-on Beastie Boys Sabotage wig. Probably Jimmy Buffet himself.
The novel and the movie are really quite different. I found the novel much more enjoyable (although the film is very well made) because the book explains the nuances and explains what certain things mean.
For example, Sonny showing interest in Sollozzo's offer shows a weakness in the Corleone armour that helps to push for the assassination attempt on the Don. With the Don out of the way, the answer stops being a blanket no and becomes a maybe.
I got more of a sense of the puppeteer motif from the book than the film. In the novel all the characters are connected to the Don in some ways and the novel is really about the Don being brilliant in a way no one else is or has been.
The movie kind of makes it more of a rise of Michael story. Michael comes across more psychopathic in the film while in the book there is more of a stress of 'it's business'. The killing of Tessio is just that. It's a necessity whether enjoyable or not and his betrayal is also in a way a necessity. It's all a bit like game theory.
The ending of the film I have always found a bit flat. It just shows a load of people being killed who vaguely appear in the story. It is the same in the book but the book creates more drama and explains more.

Hurrah for Drugs!
The movies I hate the most are ones that are just mediocre. I will go on long rants about how much I despise a movie just because it is like a 5/10 and people wonder why I hate it so much. Good Movies are entertaining. A lot of Bad Movies are entertaining. Mediocre Movies are pointless and boring.

It's PRIDE MONTH!!! From film buffs to those seeking supportive community online, everyone can enjoy this selection of four queer films for the occasion!
This month's films include:
The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
But I'm A Cheerleader
Better Than Chocolate ~ (We'll be showing a rare screener version of the film with the Unrated Director's Cut!)
The Iron Ladies 1 & 2
You can follow @GrillChill or #SusansCinemaStash to know when we go live. Hope to see many Fedi friends there!
Susan's Cinema Stash presents our first film for Pride Month: The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert!
This 1994 Australian road comedy took the world by storm upon its release. It helped introduce mainstream audiences to trans and gay people through its positive and heartfelt depictions. Its gorgeous drag outfits earned it an Academy Award for Best Costume Design, one of only three films set in contemporary times to win the award.
With a sequel now on the way (!!!) there's no better time to watch it than now! The show starts at 6:00 PM (PST) and will have subtitles for those who need and want them. You can even stream it live to your TV! Hope to see you there~
Susan's Cinema Stash presents our second film for Pride Month: But I'm a Cheerleader!
The movie was treated harshly by conservative critics upon release. Director Jamie Babbit had to make severe cuts to the film to get it rated under NC-17, criticizing the MPAA for its unfair treatment of films with queer content. Despite these struggles, the film has become a cult classic, criticizing conversion therapy and showing the story of a girl who embraces that she's a lesbian.
The show starts at 6:00 PM (PST) and will have subtitles for those who need and want them. You can even stream it live to your TV!
Thanks to all that came out! Had a lovely group tonight. Next week we'll show Better Than Chocolate!!!
Susan's Cinema Stash presents our third film for Pride Month: Better Than Chocolate!
Better Than Chocolate is based on the real life story of Little Sister's Book and Art Emporium, a queer book shop famous for its battles against Canadian Customs refusing imports of queer books and media. With a bit of comedy and some lesbian romance spun into the tale, it becomes an incredible piece of indie queer film-making!
We'll be showing the Unrated Director's Cut of the film from a screener tape, making this an extra special treat! The show starts at 6:00 PM (PST) and will have subtitles for those who need and want them. You can even stream it live to your TV! Hope to see you there~
