                      I believe I edited this a few weeks ago and forgot about it. These are some windows still under construction 🏗️

                      A color photo of a building in the city that looks to be almost brutalist. It has a slightly more narrow base then expands out after about 10 floors and goes up into a high-rise. All of the windows are small squares except on one level towards the bottom that are rectangles. Many of the rectangular windows are orange or blue. And most of the windows up through the middle are outlined in white. If you look closely they aren't actually windows, it is under construction and different types of plastic has been taped over where the windows go. There's also a window cleaners lift with men on it going up the side of the building. On the right side is a black glass high-rise and the bottom of the photo shows other 8 to 10 story buildings with water tanks on top. The sky above is gray with roiling clouds.

                                                            The shot almost worked - 300mm wasn't quite long enough and there was a lot of turbulence in the air (making edges jittery), but it was still kind of cool to see the world's largest aircraft floating around downtown like a stoner looking for a brownie in the pantry.

The canyon wall is mostly covered in dark patina but someone hundreds of years ago literally pecked the image of (perhaps) a person with their arms extended and pointing downward and their legs spread wide and similarly pointing downward in a ninety degree fashion. The pecking created a salt and pepper look in the figure's body. The head has eyes and a mouth and prominent ears sticking out. (Note: I only describe the image as they are regarded in modern culture for the benefit of those with limited or no vision. Generally, it is not recommended in Visit With Respect guidelines, established by local Natives, to imbue any meaning upon ancient rock images as we are not of the culture that made them.)

                                                                      Eric (on the left in the glasses), bass player and illustrator, was one of my roommates during my first year at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He introduced me to Bad Brains and the Misfits. For a white kid from suburban Colorado this was a revelation.

                                                                                    One of my favourite birds: a Red-breasted sapsucker feeding its young a couple of weeks ago. The young has now fledged.

                                                                                    A woodpecker with a black and white body and a red head and breast on the side of a dead tree with fungi and peeling bark.
