I use @duckduckgo for search, but I wanted to test AI Search.

And *of course* it doesn't work in !

I hate it. This is what happens in Enterprise as well. Everything is tested in Chrome.

No, in case you wonder, we haven't changed our minds.

    Statement that reads

"Browse without AI"
Browsing should push you to explore, chase ideas, and make your own decisions. It should light up your brain.

When an artificial assistant sits between you and the web, Big Tech filters what you see and decides what you don't see. Your judgement is outsourced.

A browser that browses for you is like paying a robot to go out for dinner with your friends and give you a summary of the evening when it gets home.

Vivaldi is taking a stand. We choose humans over hype, and we will not turn the joy of exploring into inactive spectatorship.

Without exploration, the web becomes far less interesting. Our curiosity loses oxygen and the diversity of the web dies.

We exist for you to explore the web on your own terms. We refuse to reduce you to a passive spectator.

We are fighting for a better web where you're in control.

The man who wrote "Don't be evil" said he chose it specifically so it would be hard to remove. Paul Buchheit, the engineer who later built Gmail, suggested the phrase at a Google corporate values meeting on July 19, 2001.

Then in early 2018, internal documents leaked showing that Google had signed a Pentagon contract to build AI to analyze drone footage. By April, over 3,000 Google employees had signed a letter to Sundar Pichai demanding the contract be cancelled.

The letter specifically cited "Don't be evil" as the standard the company was failing to meet. Dozens of engineers resigned in protest.

Sometime between late April and early May, the slogan disappeared from the code of conduct's preface.

This commentary on Eric Schmidt's ill-received commencement speech at University of Arizona is spot on:
        youtu.be/tlQ7EoJDTQY

It is a thoughtful, stern public call-out of a man who had all the power and opportunity to make the right, ethical decisions at Google, but didn't – and who now demands that students inhabiting the technofascist dystopia he helped create go in and fix it.

The booing at that commencement speech was a rare and much-needed moment of accountability for Schmidt.🔥

I googled a line which a social media post claims is from a translated Egyptian stele to see if there was a better source for it and AI told me to go to L'Avenue (a touristy bistro down the street which I avoid).

Cheers to that! It's an excellent philosophy, and if you are looking to put it into action

right here in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, you have some of the best food, drinks, and

nightlife in the city right outside your door.

Here is a quick guide to making the most of your holiday in the neighborhood:

+ Epicurean Feasting: For stellar BYOB dining, grab a table at L'Avenue on Mont-
Royal for an unforgettable brunch, or head to Schwartz's Deli (just a short walk
south) for Montreal's legendary smoked meat.

+ Drink & Get Intoxicated: The Plateau is famous for its vibrant bar scene. Sip world-
class cocktails at L'Gros Luxe, grab a local Quebec craft pint at Vices & Versa on
Saint-Laurent, or enjoy a cozy, intimate vibe at Le Lab.

+ Make Holiday: Take a romantic or leisurely stroll up to the lookout at Mount Royal
Park to watch the sunset, then wander the shaded paths of La Fontaine Park.

Always pace yourself, and enjoy the holiday!

Which information? The world’s. Are we part of the world? Yes. Do they need to access and use all our info to fulfill their mission? Obviously. Don’t we get access and use too? Sure, but there’s no mention in the mission of cost or presentation. If indexing is a process, AI is ultra processed.
