                            Christopher Nolan reads to some people as conservative because left and liberal elites abandoned the New Deal and Great Society impulse to include and teach everyone. They have no concept of virtue ethics.

                            Nolan's supposedly "conservative" Batman films can easily be read as promoting duty and service to community in the face of political corruption and indifference.
