      Palette gremlins appear when I’m splashing paint around in the studio. Occasionally the random patterns will suggest something and soon I’ll find myself nudging it a bit closer to what I imagine. 1/3

The stalks transform into fiery orange feathers, creating a wonderful contrast with her skin and the black background. Her brow lifts and wrinkles at the eyes.                   I'm not a nostalgic person per se. I like new music as much as old, new TV series' and video games BETTER than old, basically I move with the times.

                  But one thing I miss are old painted fantasy/sci-fi book covers. You know, the cheesy pulpy ones with actual characters and creatures depicted.

                  I really dislike the bland, personality-free modern covers depicting a symbol or something. And don't get me started on the brain-melting horde of identical urban fantasy covers.
