"A #USAirForce major was arrested on the steps of the #USCapitol on Wednesday after delivering a speech calling for the impeachment and removal of President Donald Trump and Vice President #JDVance.

"The arrest of #JasonWatson occurred after he spoke at a news conference organized by #RemovalCoalition, the grassroots activist group said. During the news conference, Watson identified himself as an active-duty service member and wore a military uniform. Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas also attended the event.

"US Capitol Police, which confirmed the arrest, said members of the public may not demonstrate on the steps of the House unless they are accompanied by a member of Congress.

"Watson was 'escorted' to the steps by a member of Congress, who 'left the area,' before police gave Watson 'lawful orders to stop the illegal demonstration or he would be arrested,' the police said in a statement.

" 'The man refused our lawful orders and was then arrested for 22-1307 Crowding, Obstructing, and Incommoding,' US Capitol Police added, noting that there are other spots on the Capitol grounds where demonstrating is allowed."

38 years ago, American Navy USS Vincennes shot down an Iranian passenger plane going from Bandar Abbas to Dubai over the Persian Gulf.

During the time, US was involved in hostilities against Iranian Navy while protecting & supporting Saddam attacking Iranian tankers during the last year of the 8 years war between Iraq & Iran.

Vincennes was supposedly chasing 2 IRGC speed boats trying to attack Kuwait flagged Iraqi tankers & went deep inside Iranian territorial waters.

The captain of the ship claimed that they mistook the Airbus A300 for an Iranian F-14 tomcat (stationed in Bandar Abbas at the time) & saw it "take hostile maneuver" towards them & launched 2 Sea to Air missiles "in defensive actions".

The claim was discredited by the flight pattern & black box of the plane that showed that it was on the weekly flight path towards Dubai & and it was ascending when it was hit.

290 civilians onboard including 16 crew were killed after the attacks.

George W. Bush (senior) who was the VP of Reagan at the time said "I'll never apologize for the United States of America. Ever. I don't care what the facts are."

The U.S. Navy officers on the bridge identified the approaching aircraft as an Iranian Air Force F-14 Tomcat.
